Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova - Falling Slowly
Believe it or not, this is not a photo. This portrait of Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman was painstakingly finger-painted from scratch by British artist Kyle Lambert on an iPad.
Using an app called Procreate, Lambert took more than 200 hours and some 285,000 brush strokes to create this photo-realistic masterpiece.
The time-lapse video showing the process of how the 26-year-old artist created the portrait has since gone viral, garnering more than seven million views on YouTube.
A trained oil painter, Lambert transitioned to digital painting about five years ago and has been using the iPad to paint since the first version was released in 2010. His other portfolio includes pictures of Beyonce, David Beckham and Rihanna.
